Doesn't every car have issues somewhere . The ad is what it is cheap 197 for someone. If they like the little Renault they fix the issues along the way
have removed and refitted . it wasnt that issue pal. was a split in the bloody brake servo pipe ........ really annoying but at least iv found the issue .thanks for all the replys its appriated . cheers to everyone that helped
thought as much just covering everything.. god knows whats going on then . will remove the lot and start again .. such a simple kit yet its been such a pain
ok never had issues before with clios but here we go first for everything.

yea there was a set for sale and they sold . everytime i find a set they sell. i cant afford new so will hold out for a second hand set. and yea i have a matched pair of 45`s.
will check the code later mate . the box came out my old r11t track car. the f4r runs a 215mm fly but the gtt one bolts straight on so the 200mm fly fit inside the bellhousing and bolts straight to the block. also making an easy fit the the gtt subframe.:D
there have been a few fives built with the f4r. trouble is with efi on the c1j its expensive. custom inlet has to be made and there aint alot of people that will make em for you. the the major parts after soon add up. i got my f4r lump off a mate who got hit up the backside in his ph1 172 clio ...
thats fine . i have the subframe built with r11 box. once the engine is mounted i then have to make the choice!fueling is no issue either really as the r5 gtt has an inline fuel pump so will just get a new bosch pump and regulator. the hardest thing for me is electrics as im colourblind. and i...
im not sure about the vvt but should be fine. and as for the unknown area it should be pretty easy as i will be simplifiying the engine. but its a learning curve. so as said anyone thats knowledgeable ,any ifo will help .:D
thats what i thought ! hahaha. i actually have 3 people who can tune webers local to me . and a local tuning company that deal with mk 1 mk 2 escorts lotus cortinas asta mk2 gte etc all ex race cars which run 45`s and the can balance em up easy so no worries there:cool:
not alot of cost really as i can get an inlet made for next to nothing and i already have a matched pair of webbers. plus its for love not bhp /power that everyone seems to aim at nowdays.
its not for a clio. its for an r5 gtt. i currently have a low mileage f4r lump which is being worked on at the moment. im looking into cams, i have a custom stainless mani made and the correct mounts to make the engine fit perfectly.i have a r 11 gearbox to make the gear ratio nice and short too...
iv got a pair of 45 webers and want to know if anyone has ran webers on the 172/182 lumps?? just curious really .i know everyone will say go with throttle bodies but i like the old skool webers.
cheers
