Hi everyone, had my 1.4 2002 dynamique for about 3 months now. When I first got it there was a slight ticking ticking noise coming from the left side of the engine, it sounds a little like this video I saw posted but not quite as loud and rattly if that makes sense...
Lowered 60mm on Gmax springs from demon tweeks, was thinking about getting 40 springs because I though 60 might be too low, but they are just about right.
Haha cheers, 5mm ripspeed ones from halfords all round to stop the center caps popping off, had ordered some decent 10mm ones but they didnt come and I was in a hurry to get the wheels on :)
This is how my 1.4 looks now after a 60mm Gmax lowering spring set, Calibre DUB Alloys, pressed plates, aero wipers and some colour coding, still to do is repair the scratches on the left of the bumper where I scraped a wall, remove the dent in front of the rear left wheel, fit a new air...
Haha nice to know im not the only one on here whos destroyed their car the same way, such a bad moment
Definitely, could tell the difference straight away when driving it back
Haha the beer can was already on the road, although i can see your point haha :D
The fuel probably was form the car, Id only just filled up £70 :(
Haha im aslo surprised I've not got slated for this, I mean its a nasty crash but the fault was entirely mine
Nope, just rang them up and transferred the policy to my new car. Didnt even ask what happened to the old one :rasp: The local scrap yard have me £100 for it, really regret not taking the wheels off though, only just finished painting them.
Haha to be fair I was concentrating on the UFO flying overhead at the time  Was pretty concussed for the next couple of weeks, general confusion and the shock of wasting £2000 in a split second!
Took a corner near me a little too fast with near-bald tyres in the wet the other week, this is the result.
Got a new black 1.4 dynamique from near birmingham for £1200, hoping to keep this one for a while :)
Hi, i am looking for some tips on repairing a heavily scratched area just under the back left window, theres about 4 deep-ish scratches each about 3-4 inches long in a small area. Would it be best to get done professionally or would it be easier/cheaper to do it myself with some colour match...
