Spraying an area

  1.4 Dynamique
Hi, i am looking for some tips on repairing a heavily scratched area just under the back left window, theres about 4 deep-ish scratches each about 3-4 inches long in a small area. Would it be best to get done professionally or would it be easier/cheaper to do it myself with some colour match paint form halfords? Would be grateful for any help, thanks.

You could do it yourself however blending it in so it looks like nothing has been done is the hard part! Chances are it'll stick out like a donkeys dick if you give it a bash esp if yo've never painted before. Painting is a bit of an art, leave it to the pro's. However if your not bothered about the finish and just want it the same colour then crack on!

For the sake of £100, best take it to a professional, you will struggle to get it right with a rattle-can. Usually find that a bodyshop are cheaper than the dent/scuff repair guys too - so best go looking for a couple of quotes in your local region
