where abouts have you got your sub/amp earthed? is it earthed to a piece of non painted bulkhead if it is just check youve not caught the earth from the head unit. if its happened since youve fitted a sub sounds like it might be the amp earth

Before i go out and make the mistake of buying something that will be an arse to fit into my project car i wanted to ask will a 172 engine fit into a standard 1.2 mk1 clios engine mounts or will it need 172 mountings or is it just an arse and should use a valver? cheers James

Have been moping around the forums for a bit and thought id drop in and say hi! Currently cause im young im driving a standard 1.2 Clio RN. Shortly however im looking to embark on my planned conversion of fitting a 172 to a 1.2 clio. wish me luck James
