anyone who is changing there coolant or thermostat soon can u help me or anyone who actually knows what the internal diameter of the top hose is?
wanting to order a water temp adapter and dont know what diameter to get
yes i have the sensor with the gauge is there anywhere to fit this on the clio engine or do i have to buy one of those top hose adapters if so anyone know the diameter of the clio coolant top hose

i have just been given a water temp gauge as a present along with oil pressure and oil temp
yes i know the car has a coolant temp gauge its a 172 cup by the way
but i cant offend the person as he is only a little kid an keeps asking me to fit it
anyone know the best way to...
i have a little but not finding what i want cause i want a joiner that goes over the original induction hose of the 172 so therefore if i new the diamter i could go a couple of mm bigger
ok so the pipe that comes off the throttle body an joins to the air box does anyone know the diameter of the end that joins the airbox just i havent got my car to check at the moment as its being tinkered with an im wanting to order a silicone or alloy joiner for my induction kit
ah back to the top rules that out apparently the 172 cup doesnt have a pollen filter, i jus dont get why the recirc cuts the fans out an doesnt blow air through cause surely its jus a rod that attaches to a flap to close air from outside entering , so why would the fans turn off when it does this

im not sure how that would affect the recirc for cabin air only but i can see how it could hinder the fan output being dragged from outside

ok im baffled the fans in my 172 cup seem very slow even on 4 doesnt seem to be a massive amount of air blown out this maybe normal as before i drove a vw which really kicked out loads of air
but second question when i turn the knob round to recirculation for the cabin only, the fans seem to...
well cars been running fine since i changed the plugs an put some slick 50 through it then today on motorway put foot down an it flashed a lil an then went an didnt come back feels a bit hesitant like its not at full power then othertimes its fine any ideas guys
mpg is fine temp on display...

yes mick the diagnostic came up with a intermittent missfire im just stumped to what it might be as it only seems to miss at top revs car seems to be running fine temp on display bang on half way getting good mpg its had new coil pack new leads...

as title says my engine management light came on bout thurs so took it for diagnostic which came up with errors
fan speed 2
missfire causing cat damage intermittent
cleared the fault started ran tested again no fault
so...
