I had to get some shorter ones when I fitted a cup spoiler to my 172, it was just touching the roof edge in the middle of the spoiler no matter how many times I refitted it or adjusted the washer pipe under there. Bmw 1 series bonnet struts from struts direct.
I have acceleras on the turinis I bought. They're not too bad in the dry just a bit noisy.
Terrible in the wet though. Have to tip-toe round every roundabout.
They'll be binned off once I put the winter wheels and tyres on. I'll probably get some contis or hankooks for next year.
IIRC you can fix the one-touch windows by opening window and holding the button down for 5s once open, then close window and hold for 5s after it's shut.
No idea about the dials though.
Does rear wiper come on when you have front wipers on and select reverse?
If not then reverse switch is stuck. Mine is at the minute.
Cost about £20 from motor factor for a new sensor. Green plastic plug goes in the back of the gearbox.
It's not an mot fail if it's not working but confuses...
I left my car in the work's car park before travelling offshore and just as I parked up I got STOP & Battery lights on dash, burning smell in the cabin and smoke from the alternator.
I won't able to test current or check voltages unil I get back in 2 weeks, bus seems pretty conclusive to me...
I've used 16" Hankook winters on the Clio for the last few years and have a set for the wife's car too. No complaints.
Some 15" ones for sale on here too.

I just got round to attempting to fit a 172 stainless cat-back exhaust I got off here a couple of months ago. I believe it's a k-tec stealth with silenced centre section.
I've just layed it out on the deck against the standard system I have fitted but the standard cat has a flange and the...
I park in exactly the same spot as the OP at my tesco, although maybe mot
Quite so far onto the hatching.
I took this yesterday for the PH bad parking thread.
It was in a cheap carvery pub type place at lunchtime so spaces were limited. Selfish **** I thought, until he came out with his...
TDM? on the reg and a calippo ice lolly sticker in the back window.
Followed you up the A90 from Stonehaven to bridge of dee last night, I was in a white transit connect.
Just sounds like the shoes are siezed to me?
Man up and drop the clutch on it, if you're not dragging the tyres down the street then you're haven't tried hard enough yet.
Just pull forward a few feet, then reverse a few feet and repeat till it pops.
The hill makes it more of a challenge though.
I used progressively finer wet&dry, 800, 1200 then 2000 grit. I then polished out the sanding marks with some 3m FastCutPlus compound on a yellow hex pad on the DA polisher.
There are a few ways to do it though, have a search and you'll find some guides.
Cheers mate. Sidelights are okay to change, just a wee bit fiddly to get your hand in the back.
Just need to pull the rubber cap off and gently tug in the wire to get the sidelight holder out to swap them over.
Will a ph2 172 door fit in the back with the seats folded down?
Probably going to pick one up this week and wondering wether to take the clio or borrow a van.
I like it. Looks great. Been considering an E61 barge for myself.
Have to agree about m-badge though.
I thought M-packed cars had ///M badges on the wheels and interior, ///M badges on the front or back were reserved for M-powered cars only?
Or does that only apply to 3-series?
Welcome to CS!
What mods do you have to get the power up and what suspension setup are you using?
Styling Isn't to my taste, a bit lairy for me with the red details on the alloys and interior.
Is it a daily driver or mostly for track?
That sounds like a a possible dephaser issue iirc. Does it get faster/louder with revs?
That would involve a cam belt change, it's not compulsory but probably should have been done if it was noisy when the belts were changed 1k ago.
Belts are somewhere around £500 done properly by a...
Welcome to CS.
Please post some pics of the car and suspension.
Which coilovers do you have?
I wouldn't advise cutting the standard springs, but don't see why you would want to if you have coilovers?
Fit a skoda fabia splitter. They are not big, but are cheap to replace when you break it.
I've never removed tints but I'd imagine something like Tardis or Autofinesse Oblitarate if you're looking for a dedicated product.
White spirit if you want something cheap and easily available.
Soak a piece of kitchen towel and lay it over the affected area for 10 mins to penetrate into the...
