lol I had a pressure gauge on the low pressure port of the ac pipe and it read 25psi . How much will a garage charge to fit a new sensor ?

pressure gauge reads 25 psi which is about normal.

Turned the car on tonight and the air con is blowing but not cooling , the fans working I can hear the compressor kick in and the system is at the normal pressure , what else could the problem be ? cheers lad25

Driving home from work on friday night and suddenly my car turns into a fandango machine ! Drove it to my local garage who put it on the ramps and the exhaust has sheared in the middle ! Hes quoted 170 supply and fit but he cant get the part til tuesday . I rang quickfit who said it would be 400...

For the past month Ive been getting a strange musty smell coming from the internalo air vents when I put the heating or air con on , its stayds for about a couple of minutes and then dissapears , has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be ? car 172 sport 2004 model...

Just goit word from Micronet that they now want me to pay for the car before I have inspected it . Orginally they told me I would be paying by bankers draft on car pick . Anyone any ideas how to get round this ? I dont fancy shelling out 12 grand and end up not getting a car !!! cheers lad25
