the reason i want part numbers is because ive came across a genuine renault dephaser and timing belt kit on the net for far less than what you would pay at a dealer

ive cleaned the calipers to with in a inch of there lifes and the sliders are nice and free . the new pads are sitting fine and are also the same type of ones that came out. one thing i did notice is the piston is alot stiffer to wind out on the cold side???

right this weekend i had the pleasure of doing the disks and pads all round on my 2002 scenic. front was ok to do. then i came to the back ones. both the rear calipers the pistons wouldnt go back in but after some time i got them wound back in. SO all back together and off for a test...

so the scenic is due a timing belt very soon . having done a couple of timing belt in my time including a vauxhall omega v6 which was the most challenging so far . am interested to know apart from needing the 3 piece timing tool is there anything i should beware of when doing it ...
well it looks like am going to leave it as it is and make do with the noise the powerflow makes :) cheers for all the feedback guys i hope yous don't mind me asking things in regards to the engine etc .i understand this is a clio forum and this is a scenic in respect but there is no other forum...
look at the sellers feedback mate i think that speaks for it self ... also if u are thinking on going down that road i would get your car booked in to a remap place and that way you know whats going into you car :)

the stock motor is pritty nippy as it is i just want a wee bit more from it and was thinking on the 172 inlet for better air delivery and maybe a remap what do u guys think ????? the 172 engine swap does sound like it would be loads of fun but the problem is...
