hi a little advice needed, i changed the passenger side shock on the 182 as the old one had lost all its fluid and badly worn the trye (which still needs changing) however now there is a constant knocking when driving which increases with speed so do the vibrations when i changed the shock...

oh i dont know about that i just saw a front shock on ebay for 172/182 how can i find out if it has the right hub spacing? regards

hi quick question, are the front shocks on the 182 the same on each side e.g a shock will fit either side? p.s happy new year!

all i know is i brought my 182 over the 172 because i like the twin exhaust :)

does the dephaser pulley need changing when you have the belts done?? or is one of them things that only need replacing if buggered so to speak??

if you have an android phone or iPhone download torque pro for £3 and get a Bluetooth obd2 kit of eBay for a tenner and that is all you need, that's what i use and its never failed to pick up a fault code ob several different cars!!

on a random note i did notice there was a random wire which came form the ecu fusebox loom thingy behind the passenger head light which was not connected and i could not for the life of me see where this should be connected, any ideas? and could this be the route of my problems? regards

well i put a bottle of wynns stop leak in this am, its just looks like a clear liquid, anyway made sure engine was hot etc and put it in, at first it just sat on top of the water but after five mins it was sucked through the system smoke started coming from where the leak was and it plugged...

dont see why not has long as the car as been looked after and serviced etc just like any car really just make sure you have breakdown cover just in case!
