Currently got a dci65 remapped with an intercooler but im after a new car soon, something a bit quicker. It's got to be a diesel as i love the economy haha but anything above a 1.9 is too much on insurance and a dci100 is the only car i know of that has still got a bit of power from a small...
To be fair i know the ride isn't going to be comfortable when getting new suspension to improve the handling and that's something i'm willing to give up. And im not aiming for my car to be track ready, i just want an improvement over the standard suspension in terms of handling not comfort. My...
Ive got a mk2 clio dci with a pretty loud audio setup. Its all so heavy that it weighs my back down and makes my car have a "lent back" stance haha. I was thinking about getting some coilovers so i can adjust them to make the car look level again or even give it a "lent forward" stance. Also...
Just replaced my stocks with some 17's and now the steering feels really heavy, don't seem to pull to the side any more than it used to. I did go down a pot hole and buckled my stock rim so i got these sprayed up and whacked them on. Dont know if that has anything to do with it.
I will put up...
Running some power cables down the side of my car for my audio system and when i was cleaning up my tools i found a relay on the floor below my glovebox.
On the top is says "G.CARTIER 12v 20/20 PA66-GF30"
On the side its got a renault logo and the numbers "77 00 414 484 29 201 041" then a...
Because im going to be running a 2600w rms system and i want to make sure my ground is as good as it can be. Obviously the standard ground was not intended for that much current and made to look tidy.
Hmmm the standard one behind the light doesn't look that good, rather small and hard to sand down properly. I would rather use that area as i can sand it down until i can see my face in it lol.
Going to buy a cone air filter for my dci65, also buying a heat shield and running a cold air feed. I can pick up a ebay cone airfilter for like £10 and the same with the heat shield, but the k&n air filter is like £60. Is it worth the extra money?
Current can only move as fast as the weakest point in the circuit will allow.
alternator positive - alternator positive wire (0 gauge) - battery positive - battery negative - battery ground (0 gauge) - chassis - engine ground (8 gauge) - engine block - alternator negative
You can clearly see...
So just hook my 0 gauge onto where the greenish wires connects?
And i have to disagree because i've already upgraded my battery ground so my battery to accessories is running off 0 gauge, if i didn't upgrade my engine ground and alternator positive in theory i would be pulling more current from...
Yeh i know, but its pushing more than 80 at the moment. And i got told it runs at around 1.1bar with a generic remap, could you not up it to say 1.3bar with a custom map?
