I’ve got one (battery) along with several of the cameras (mains and 1 battery one), a couple of chimes and a chime pro (WiFi extender). I personally think it’s pretty good but as you’d expect it is very dependent on your WiFi strength/connection. I have one camera that does struggle sometimes...
Had my X’s screen replaced over the weekend by Apple (under warranty otherwise it would’ve been £230) as the phone was suffering with ‘Ghost touch’. Basically the phones touchscreen became pretty much unusable inside a 24 hour period and started randomly opening and closing Apps, web pages and...
Was behind me on Carterhatch Lane for a bit then passed me on the A10. Cliosport sticker and a plate starting with D1. Lovely colour.
Inferno on the A10 as well heading towards Enfield. 55 plate I think, around the same time.
I'm quite enjoying it. It isn't as good as the first two, but if you're a fan of them you'll like it. You can tell it's been done by a different developer - it just doesn't feel as polished. It suffers from a bit of lag every so often, and the camera angles can be a bit odd at times. One thing I...
Thats right. About 10 minutes if I remember correctly. However a dodgy sensor (one on the turbo heat shield, one under the carb) can mean it'll stay on until the battery dies, or not come on at all.
I loved my GTT for the 8 years I had it, but it was a colossal pain in the ass.
Literally just finished this. I had no knowledge of the previous Bioshock games. I really enjoyed it and quite an ending on it - kind of wish it hadn't come to an end actually. That last battle though - took me about 6 goes to finally nail it!
My dad had a gold one of those when I was a little kid. It got nicked and used in a bank robbery and my two favourite teddy bears were on the back seat! Luckily he got the car back with the bears still intact and no worse off for their ordeal. He got rid of the car not long after that - still...
Spotted the 182 at about 12:15 in WGC - I think it had a CS sticker in the back window and some other stickers. The 172 was behind me on the Ridgeway being driven by a female at about 1245ish.
Being a huge Aliens fan I preordered this on the back of the demo videos that had been released. I cancelled it one week before its release as I was starting to hear bad things - I'm so glad I did, it looks shockingly bad. And what the hell is that Alien doing in that little clip? I don't know...
I had a similar thing happen to me a few years back in my 182. A girl in a Ford KA hit me which required a new boot floor, rear panel, bumper plus trimmings and part of the exhaust replaced and fitting/spraying. Total bill was approximately £1300.
Mine went on my 182 a few months back. I was getting silly quotes for fixing it/new box from Renault etc but after a few phone calls, buying a reconditioned second hand box from a nice member on here, ordering a new clutch and having it all fitted the total bill was under £700. Luckily mine was...
I'm on over 8 years from new with my 182 now and I agree, they are a hard car to part with. I'm looking at getting a newer car at the moment but when I think about the point of selling/PX'ing.....it's not easy!
Well the whine has gone (along with fifth) and there's now a metallic knocking/clattering noise in its place that is present even when not in gear and just idling. Hopefully it'll drive far enough for me to get it to the garage though when I finally get the bits I need together.
No it literally went from being in gear and driving along at 70 to engine revs suddenly rising, slowing down and finding fifth gear had vanished! I thought it had popped out of gear but when I put it back into fifth and nothing happened that I realised I had a slight problem. As I say all the...
No I'm not Steve. The gear box went about 10 or so miles from home so I drove it back and haven't touched it since. Interestingly I hadn't experienced any popping out of gear like you did, but thinking about it now the box was very whiney when in 5th doing about 40mph. I had put it down to the...
Quick update on main dealer prices if anyone is interested:
Brand new gearbox from Renault - £2800
Reconditioned gearbox from Renault - £970
Clutch from Renault - £200
Fitting at Renault for gearbox and clutch - £800
Looks like I won't be going to Renault!
Cheers for the responses guys - always appreciated. I'm hoping it is going to be as simple as tightening a nut. I'll get in booked in tomorrow and keep the thread updated in case anyone else gets a similar issue.
You got any idea on price at all? I'll give them a buzz tomorrow and see if I can get something a bit more definitive but it would be good to know beforehand what to roughly expect.
Best way I can describe the noise is like a low metallic clattering/grumbling - its doing it even when not in gear. Other than 5th (and the noise) the gearbox is working fine. I'm really surprised at this as I don't hammer the thing about and it's only done 60k - still on its original clutch...
Just driving home when the engine revs raced up all of a sudden, thought the car had jumped out of gear and found 5th gear had totally vanished. All the other gears work fine but the gearbox is making a right noise now. I've searched through the forum and there seems to be various thoughts on...
Thing for me is that you've not put any cheap aftermarket stuff on it so I personally don't think it will affect resale value at all. In fact if I were you I'd sell the Trophy wheels seperately (assuming you still have the original wheels to replace them of course). There is a healthy demand for...
Anyone got the new Harley's Revenge DLC? It's a whole sub story as opposed to new skins/challange maps. Just finished playing through it and quite enjoyed it. Only about 2-3 hours play but well worth a download.
What colour is your 172? I used to have a 172 ph2 in iceberg - one of my favourite Clio colours. I've had my 182 from new - its now 8 years old and I still enjoy it as much as I did when I first got it. Despite all the little quirks they really get under your skin and I can't see me ever selling it.
