Yepp my 182 also does this (not that you need to know as the guys above said its normal!) But yeah, "holding back" is the perfect definition of how I would also describe it. Bloody annoying.

The "connects2" ipod adaptor for standard head unit is brilliant. 30 quid and all the stalks work as they should. cant recommend it enough. Just slots into the CD changer port on the back of the standard unit and nice great quality 3.5 aux comes out into my cup holders in front of the gear...
