I have pms top mount and think they are great even on the road. However they do cost more than standard and are a little harsher.
Tool wise, an Allen key or bit to hold the top of the strut. An offset ring spanner 22mm and a few 19mm(I think) spamers and spring compressors to be safe.
Not sure which way your going, but a few of us meet further down the M4 and convoy.
As said above check the local area nearer the time and you will see convoy threads.
Not sure if I have seen your cup Jaime, but have seen your Kyle and its very nice.
Mine has just ticked over 40k and spent a fair bit on it. Seen cups with 3 times the mileage and much worse condition go for 2k, so not sure why people say a mint one isn't worth 3k+
Agreed I would want 3k+ for mine.
But back to you question, if there is a doubt in your mind trust your instincts and walk away. There will be other cars that will come up for sale
My brother in law had a 4x4 crash into the back on his Audi S3 while he was waiting to turn.
His S3 got taken away for repair and he was given a hire car. Now almost two weeks later the insurance company have told him that it is insured as a 2.0tfsi sportline not an S3.
They are taking his...
I just used my new tracking tool http://www.trackace.co.uk/Trackace.html and my car has too much toe in. So I'm going to adjust it later, but want to check I am doing correctly.
Firstly I know the gauge shows the toe, but obviously this is just a reading between the two wheels so one could be...
Martin you forgot one essential thing

You will need these to stop the squealing driving you mad!
I also have the puremotorsport top mount and brace kit. Really improved the turn in and general handling, well worth it IMO
Having said that ats top mounts seem to get good reviews
There is no way the cooksports are even close to being as harsh as apex. I had apex on my old 172 and it almost broke my spine.
I didn't find the cooksports too harsh, could go normal speeds (20mph) over speed humps without a problem
Yes I've both eibach prolines, fantastic spring just too high ride heigh and cooksports.
The cooksports sit the car at a nice ride height, only make the ride slightly more harsh and handle very well for a road setup. I would say they are the best spring you can get and much cheaper than...
The idle is a good indicator of a map being on a car. Most maps will idle at 1100-1200 rpm when cold then 1000 rpm warm. Other than that only really by having plugged into a reader.
As above if no proof very unlikely it has, not many people would throw away a £1000+ receipt. Is there a receipt...
I use whatever Fred puts in at service time, which I'm sure is good quality.
Lets face it you change your oil 1 or 2 times a year, so is the extra £30 on good oil really going to matter
Hard to say without seeing the wings on at the minute. Have you got a picture?
general rule of thumb is you need the wings and wheel arch liners. Also side skirts if you don't want the bottom of the wing sticking out
