now this is getting silly! replaced the stalk today with the horn style one, after ordering the wrong one first time round as only had rear fogs on that one! and success!!! we have a working horn. but now a new problem, service light and esp light. now i done a search and mine doesnt have abs on...
ah ok well i managed to find the who "squib" (if thats correct) for 15 quid.
if replacing just the one stalk im guessin it plugs straight in, does it leave the original horn wire inside the boss as well then or is this removed as well
cheers. i have just looked at a dtalk assembly and it looks like u replace both stals and all the bits behind the wheel. found one for 15 quid. is it just a simple swap then or are there plug wiring issues at all.
right so here we are with the horn. below are the things i have tried and with no luck.
+ and - of the horn connected to the red and black wires from car = horn constantly sounding
opposite way round = same as above
+ of horn connected to red of car, - of horn connected to boss metal = -...
thanks. the boss came with one resistor and fuse so will just sort out other connector. as for the horn i have tried swaping them round and that did nothin. however have had a thought of a possible fix for it
hi people. im sure somewhere on the net there is simular question and answers but to save searchin i thought id ask. just finished fitting my imp wheel and boss which arrived this morning. couple of problems though.
1. air bag light is on.
now i have connected the fuse which they supplied...
I knoe i passed a fair few in the que to get in. Think i ended up pulling jn between two in the end. I wasnt on the clio sport stand i was on british mods in the end with three other 1*2s
Mornging all. Wondering if people can advice. Got two problems with the clio. Firstly the water temp is up and down since changing to forge hoses. Never goes above half but also causes revs to raise on standstill as if it is cold.
Second problem. Sometimes under acceleration it goes all lumpy...
so another job done yesterday (day off work so had time to play). painted and fitted the front brace. didnt realise it was going to be such a b**ch to do!
well iv been a bit busy with other projects such as my supra and bandit but so havnt had a chance until now to upload pics of the bay.
sice the last update i have changed all the coolant hoses to blue forge, removed aircon (plays up my breathing), painted engine black and made a custom battery...
im loving the idea of nos on a clio. im running nitrous on my supra v8 conversion though thats a fair bit more then 50shot! currently in talks with the guys who sponsored that set up with sorting me out a set up on my motorbike, guess it wouldnt hurt to enquire about a clio set up to.
morning people. i took delivery today at last of my forge collent hoses. now im slightly confused. those of you who have fitted them, what are the two little bits from the two heater hoses suppose to go and how are you suppose to connect the small ones to the main bottom one. am i missing...
i rather like the wheels. as previosly said its personal teaste at end of the day.
that kibd of makes sence now with the fuel rail gaurd. ill bung it back on once painted.
i dont see a point in the fuel rail gaurd thats why i removed it. frankly anything that can get through a radiator, air con rad, fan and grill deserves to hit. the fuel rail.
as for the mats it came in the set off of ebay. i like the wheels. all personal taeste, wouldnt expect everyone to like...
just had a look. if it didnt go through insurance it would appear on hpi anyway. not reaply fussed as it drives fine. just more annpyed about previous owner not being honest especially if there a member on here
i thought id post up some pics of my 182. it already had some stuff done to it and iv since then been very busy bee (seeing as iv only had it 3 weeks).
previous owner had the wheels done, yazzo stainless exhaust system, KnN filter, lowered, guessing pop and bang retune (as it pops and bangs...
