hi guys i thought bugger it have a go today and see if come off and they do come off without the bumper coming off i carefully put a flat handle screw driver in and it popped out and nothing snapped so cheers everyone for the input

hi everyone had a look at the rings today one was caked in grease and the other is split so they need replacing can i ask, my car is a mk2 52 plate 2003 dci how many teeth will the replacement abs rings need to be without taking the wheel to count lol as i have noticed the 44 are much cheaper...

hi there everyone i have recently had my mot and was told the discs and pads needed changing these have been done but before they got changed the abs and serv light came on i understand from looking around the forum that it could be the abs rings that need replacing or grease coming from the cv...

so sorry mate yes i did thank you i went to a different garage today and was recommended he said he checked that it was fully tensioned properly and he checked with his tool ;-) thanks again mate

had my alternator and battery checked today and all ok which is a bonus just thinking if the garage didnt do the alternator belt at all as the mechanic today said it didnt look new which is worrying

cheers guys for your help i decided to go for the 10w 40 and had it done today at my local garage for 36.00 all in couldnt believe how the car ran so much better with some clean life fluid lol thanks again

anyone know if they can be taken off without taking the front bumper off completely many thanks

amazing cars mate mine is doing currently 63mpg around country roads and is 20 per year tax i miss my cup terribly but when you have kids its a no brainer lol i hope it lasts a long time to come its a 52 plate 2003 purchased from a family member who had it from new full service history with 41k...
