    Smoke at high revs

Not one I've really smelt before - didn't smell like oil - the colour wasn't blue like oil would suggest. It smelt nasty, but not a smell I've come across before, can't really be more helpful that that.

    Smoke at high revs

It seemed weird though, the car had been running hot for a while before I pushed it and it was this weekend just gone - very warm so not sure it's that. Happy to stand corrected tho!

    Smoke at high revs

Hi all, Looking for some wisdom - my RB182 Cup has started smoking at high revs. It originally started over 6k (with a hot engine) and when I shift up there's a quick puff of white. Assumed this was some water getting in but coolant level hasn't dropped and it didn't happen all the time. Took...

    Toyo Proxies T1-R 195 50 15 seem rubbish?

I swear by the Toyo's on my Williams. They're poor in the wet, but when the sun's out they're epic. Pilot Sport 3's on the 182...

    Uneven rear arch gaps?

I've got this issue on the front - had it ever since I got the car. They're on standard coils/shocks and they're the same having checked the other weekend. Really can't work it out!

    Brake bleeding

Hi all, Am planning on doing all discs and pads this weekend - George @ RTR has been fantastic help on this! Wanted to check what the approved order for bleeding the brakes is? Seem to be lots of differing views. Have found that people are suggesting one of the following: N/S/R -> O/S/R ->...

    Stainless exhaust

Quick update - as I'm looking to get the engine out shortly on the Willi, I'll try and replace the manifold to the cat as this will be the difficult bit - I am looking at the ktec s/steel tubular manifold, has anyone used these or know anything about them? Are they any good?

    Stainless exhaust

Hi all, Hopefully not the usual exhaust question... I've searched under the traders section and can't find anything... I'm looking to get a full stainless system made to original specs for my Williams, does anyone know of or can recommend someone for this? Cheers D

I'm going no matter what and it'll be sunny, never fear. I am at work on shoreham seafront atm and it's glorious outside, internet says it's meant to be misty right now. And if it rains on Sunday, there are always pubs!

    Quick 98Ron query

Looks like I might have to stop umming and ahhing and just get one. I know it'll help massively with diagnostics too.

    Quick 98Ron query

That's class. Stupid question of the night... I'm guessing it'll have much the same effect on a 182? Would I be obliged to mention it to my insurers?

    Cold start

Have a look at some of the guides on here for the plugs, was how I learnt! It's not that hard at all and makes a massive difference.

    Quick 98Ron query

Not looking for a massive power gain, just interested in the way it changes the car, and based what I've read I think I'd be wise to avoid ktec maps. If the fastchip makes it smoother and more driveable, that's ideal.

    Quick 98Ron query

I run super unleaded anyway so that shouldn't be too much of an issue? In terms of performance there's no real trade off then? The extra torque lower down isn't generated by sacrificing top end horses?

    Quick 98Ron query

Hi all, Been searching the forum about the fastchip/rstuner 98Ron map and everyone seems happy with it. My question is does it put greater strain on the engine/increase engine wear or does it just make it run like it should? Cheers
