Anywhere near stoke / derby that can fit uprated camshafts without f**king it up?
I used to go to hillpower but they no longer exist and i dont want to drive half way across the country.
Its an f7r williams engine. Only place i can think of is prima racing.
I have bought a second hand mk1 carbon bonnet, with full internals. It has the front hinges, but it is missing the rear loop that fixes to the catch mechanism. I therefore need to replace it. It was there but has been taken off.
Does anyone know what is used on these bonnets from new for this...
I wouldnt pay more than 2k for it personally. But as long as people want to burn their money it might be worth 5 to the right mug.
It will almost certainly have rust around the chassis rail on the reserve tank, along the underside of the sills and all over subframe and its mounting points...
The plastic bush that hold the ball end of the selector rod fell out today. It left me with a loose gear lever.
I pushed it back in and realised the circlip must have come out. I have replaced the circlip.
Is there a reason for this happening? I have never heard of this before and certainly...
Ok i found some second hand corbeau pro series for sale and i went to sit in them and they fitted like a glove, so bought those.
Thanks for all the help.
A 34-36 inch waist is going to be 11 odd inches wide, plus add some of for clothes and comfort and lets call it 12-13 inched which is ~34 cm, and the seat is 40 cm. So i am right no? 6 cm spare? Am i going mad?
So if the fururas are 40 cm wide, why are people saying you need a 34 inch waist to fit in them? Am i missing something? there is a spare 6cm there.
Anyone else got any suggestions for seats suitable for taller wide shouldered people?
Anyone had or got these seats who is over 6ft tall?
I also have a big frame, ie wide shoulders. They look quite big seats, but am i likely to fit in them?
Also are the harness holes nice and high on the back?
ok i had to leave the bolt loose, but held it in place with thread lock. If you tighten the bolt, it clamps the rod selector to the linkage. It works how i have done it.

If you look at this, the red part is the gear linkage BOLTED to the gear selector rod. Obviously its going to be stiff if you do the bolt up. No free play. Surely this cant be right?
The brass bush i have is for the lever end. I have another bush, looks like stainless steel for the gb end (i assume. Its a top hat bush and (i think) fits in the hole in the gb selector rod, and then the linkage fits over both of these parts. A bolt then goes through it all, and a nut tightenes...
Hi,
I bought a stiff shift kit from yanoo. I got both the lever end and the gearbox end metal bushes.
I have only so far fitted the gb end bush. But when i fit it, if i tighten it up, it locks the selector in position, It only works if you leave it loose. The reason for this (if i have fitted...
Once you have taken out the rear seats and spare Tyre, nothing else you take out will make much performance difference
After that you start removing tar and sound proofing and gain some more.
When that has gone, the only real other performance boosting weight loss is the front seats replaced...
Perhaps you missed the part written in english that states you must not cause discomfort to other road users.
That is the ONLY requirement other than having a bulb over 30W
Had 100W bulb in my williams for best part of 10 years now. No wiring melting, no mot failure, never stopped by the police. No melting of headlight internals. Much better light. They are also cheaper than normal headlight bulbs.
