Thinking of changing my 182 and struggling to decide what to go for, I like the FRS a lot but am unsure about buying an older car with more mileage thats worth more that the Clio. Thoughts please....... Still like the Clio, fun to drive etc but just fancy a change.

Worth watching espeacially from 7mins onwards when you first see the blue radical. What an idiot, he seems to come form the school of racing where they dont teach you racing lines or how to carry corning speed just how to boot it on the straights (ooooooh thats hard!). Any other 182 owners noticed water droplets on their rear screen after heavy acceleration? This i have assumed is water vapour from condensation formed in the exhaust and steam produced by exhaust gaseses hitting cold air. And before anyone says it, no this is not a result of booting it before...

Certainly thraped the demo car I took out, only 25 miles on the clock at the time, smoke from the back and nice burning smell from the exhaust etc. How else are you supposed to get a feel for the car!!!!!!?

Happened to John Barker in the EVO magazine long term V6 whilst laying out cones for a slalom course.

Had a similar lumpy idle prob on my 182 coupled with lumpy running @ low speeds. Dealer traced it faulty spark plug which was replaced and the ECU was reset at the same time. Probably just a one off incidence but information for you all the same.

The baffles in the centre section of my Phase 1 172 have rattled loose and the pipe fractured just before the back box at the weekend. I have just been offered a 2nd hand 6 month old one from what I assume will be a Phase 2. Therefore does anyone know if the Phase 1 and 2 exhuast are the same...

So to clarify the exhaust runs: Manifold, Cat, centre section including back box. And the centre section does not incorporate the cat as I have been told which means that the Magnex system will fit directly to the cat in the same way the current system does.

If thats the case why have Renault quoted me for two sections, centre and back box.
