Yes this controller needs oem steering ecu - and the motor is on column. Will do foto later. I'm not realy happy to use EPAS - in future i hope to find clio 172/182 hidraulic rack (it's not so easy here :) ) - and use it whit kangoo electric/hidraulic motor.
It's not working at the moment - waiting for this:

hope it will work.
And yes this is straight swap.
Thing done till now:
RHD to LHD (later will make guide if someone will be interested)
New cup subframe (old one was damaged)
New wishbones (redrilled to more caster)
New OEM wishbones bushings
Polybushed dogbone mount
New ball joints
New tierods + tierods ends
EPAS (custom alternator bracket)...
So - cup have 20mm wider track due to subframe. Due to wide track it has longer drive shafts, longer tie rods. Hubs are same, tie rod ends same, same wishbones (just outer ball joint hole is in differnet place - it gives more caster).
Did someone check ph2 172 and 172 cup subframes? What i found is different wishbone mounting holes location:
Usual clio subframe - 21mm
Clio cup 172 subframe -11mm
Clio 172 - ??? (should be about 16??)
This should give wider track.
I'm little confused - bought subframe form member on this forum (mine was damaged), but after I measured it i found different diagonal.
Can someone confirm it must be different? Or can someone measure cup subframe?
Thanks
Vytas.
Previously the car was damaged to front left side - found broken subframe (even non sport i gues) and two different wishbones - so some one change wishbone to non cup. So only outer ball joint hole is different between these? if so i think i can just drill new hole.
Is there are difference...
Thanks for your posts.
