hi all had a test done on my 172 and the alternator aint powering up the battery,this be the second time in 3 weeks that its been changed,its been changed 3 times altogether. any ideas?

isit right i must use fully synthetic elf 5w 40 oil in my car 172. or is there better oil that will suit the engine. its on 100k thanks.

just out of curiosity will any other engine fit in my 172? like out of a megane or a smaller engined clio. i dont mind losing the speed and power aslong as its running il be happy.

was driving my car yesterday decided to stop at my local shop came back out started my car and it was a terrible knocking noise.sounds normal at tickover but soon as i put even the slightest throttle it knocks badly, i dont thrash my car i drive sensibly,the oil is fine and the water is fine...

Is there anyone on here who does this type of work? my steering wheel have started to blister and my thumb grips are falling apart and its getting quite uncomfortable now. how much am i looking to get this done and can the thumb grips be re-done ? thanks all.

Are the wiper linkages the same on a standard 1.2 mk 2 clio as a clio 172 also a mk 2 or are they different. :)

my exhaust on my clio sport is underneath on the left hand side,my mate is breaking his clio sport due it bein crashed so been offered it as spares but the exhaust is a twin that comes out of the bumper at the middle.would this bumper and exhaust fit straight to my car ?? thanks all

hi all noticed today my stop light flickering on my dashboard,,it only does it now and again,its the stop light by the side of the alarm dot not the engine managment stop light. anyone experience this? car still runs as it should.

seems to be problem after problem today, my headlights have decided to stay on even when the stalk is switched to off,when i turn ignition off they go out. any ideas guys?

iv got a 172 sport 51plate and just noticed buzzing from the roof pod,i popped the roof pod off and it seems to be a black little tube in there making the noise, anyone know what this problem is.car starts and runs fine. thanks all.
