Happens every now and then, more so with the 172 than with any of the 4 other cars I have had. Its usually after I have finished work driving a diesel focus all day, the 172 feels sooo heavy in comparison! (but way more fun!!)

Hi, I picked up my 02 172 just over a week ago and noticed that the external temp display appears to be wrong as at the moment it is displaying in excess of 30 degrees celcius. But having done some research the temprature reading would be correct in fahrenheit. Does anyone know if this is...

Just wondered also what you guys reckon as to the ideal size of tyre. Mine need changing soon and Im probably going to go for Eagle F1's but for the same price as 195/45 r16 GSD 3s i can get 205/45 r16 GSD 2s. Do you think I would see a benefit going for the wider tyre? Cheers Mark

Hi all, I have been browsing the forums over the last few weeks while looking for a 172 and found them really useful! This led to me finally picking up this little baby yesterday! ;-) And so far all I can say is what a car! My last car was a 2.0 Focus which was great to drive but...

They are well worth it IMHO, I work for Surrey Police and we have the 300 in all of our response cars and they are simply brilliant! They save so much time compared to messing around with a map!

Hi guys, newbie to the forum here! Just a quick question does anybody know of any recurrent problems or had any issues with the valves on their 172s dropping or the guides causing any problems with the valves? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Mark
