Hi All
Seen a few of you with green or red wheel bolts on your cars, (think ive missed the boat on the TPI polarised group buy) just wondering where do you get them from?
And what wheel bolts & locking nuts do you recommend?
The standard ones are terrible and ruin the look of the wheels, so...
Im going to go for the Repair service Emma suggested.
Can anybody tell me how to remove the scuttle panel and heater pack please ?
(I am going to give it a go at work on my lunch today)
Thanks Mike
Youve done a really good job of the actual sticker bombing mate, im just never sure of whether I like it or not, had it in one of my cars recently - mk5 fiesta Zetec S, and could never decide if I actually liked it or not lol. I think what I like most is the amount of work that goes into...
Going to phone Renault for a price tomorrow. Its £66 delivered from cheapest scrappy so far but only 1 months warranty. If its £100 for a brand new one - thats tempting although depressing
Scutch cheers for that mate - very interesting. I too would have been looking for a larger CAF pipe as on user mentioned. ill just leave it sat in the airboxlooks like ill have to cut the samco by around 20mmcheers again
Yeah its a good idea Emma, and during summer i'd probably take that option too, but with these frosty mornings, I need it back up and running asap. Gonna either have to bite the bullet at £66 from scrappy, hope someone replies to my wanted thread tonight, or failing that go to Renault with my...
Really? Never thought anyone would suggest that ! I am willing to take your word for it though. Such a shame to cut the Samco though, just impossible for the air box to fit in the bay though unless I do :(
Cheers for that mate, looks like the standard induction hose is shorter than thew Samco, so I will have to cut that down.Looking at that pic, I cant see any reducer between the airbox and his CAF. Which suggests its just sat in there with about an inch gap for dirt and crap to get in ?
Hello All
I have purchased the espace V6 airbox, and 172 pipercross filter to fit my 54 plate 182, as I was told this was the easiest option to get away from the heat soak issues of using K&Ns etc (without using 90 degree bends etc)
I also read that the airbox just fits onto the standard size...
Think im just going to replace it with a second hand one as you and Emma say Liam. I have been quoted £66 delivered from a scrappy with 1 months warranty. I will put something in the wanted section on here too though. Want it cheaper than £66 really
cheers all
Emma, thanks very much for taking the time to do that, much clearer now
Think I might try the repair service rather than have my pants pulled down by Renault, shall have a think :) (thats if I don't crash on the way home haha)
Damn, yep its a non cup 182. Are the Renault traders on here any cheaper than normal parts suppliers/motor factors ?
Anyone have the part no?
Liam cheers mate I will give that a go, don't suppose you have a pic of the plug that you mean ?
cheers
Mike
Hi All
really hope someone can help with this as I have just had one treacherous journey to work...
Yesterday whilst driving, with the heaters/front heated screen on full in my 182, it just went off - all the lights still on, all of the buttons operate but nothing is happening.
Im hoping its...
Wow thats a lot of options there ! Thanks to everyone for your help. I may go for the Megs Endurance first and see if im happy with that, if not then look into the higher priced ones :)
Cheers All
T1R's definitely arent s**te Have them on My 182, (just had two new ones fitted to the front incidently) I used mytyres.co.uk - bit pricey though this time round. IMO they grip like hell, even though its been p1ssing it down non stop lately. Looking forward to some dry weather.
Never have...
Hello All
Well during the heavy snow period this year, our 98 ph1 clio was plunged under 8 inches of snow for nearly a week, which seemingly overwhelmed the sunroof drain holes, and as a result when it melted, we ended up with literally a swimming pool in the from and rear footwells on the...
