ok been outside for 3 hours on new years day and checked "everything". tdc sensor,crank sensor,ecu wiring,battery terminals etc etc etc etc and nothing,still will not fire up at all !!! does anyone anywhere know where the immobiliser is on a 2001 172 phase 1 clio. please someone respond.

went out today and it just won't fire,cranks ok.used car yest eve and all was ok. immob light flashes and extinuishes when ignition on ok but wont fire. tried all usual tricks,fuse 21 out,hold down central lock button. got my booster pack on it at the moment as its draining battery trying to...

can someone tell me where the air temp sensor is located on the ph1 172. ive plugged in a scangauge to the obdII and am getting a iatc temp of 35 degrees but k&n filter is cold(which is behind headlamp). theres no maf on these or temp sensor in induction hose.

today the digits on the odometer and trip have disappeared on the dash display.all ive got is 1st few numbers. is there such a place to take for repair or is it a strictly dealer jobbie. can prob get a second hand dash from the bay but want correct milage etc. sounds like a dry joint...
