I was wondering if anyone could help in solving the problem I have with my driver side seat cover.
On the passenger seat around the bottom of the seat cover is a fastener string that's tensioned to keep the seat cover tight over the foam and on the bolsters.
The driver side doesn't seem to...
Sadly I didn't take any pictures when I was doing it as it was starting to rain at the time and wanted it on :)
It was relatively easy, the hardest thing was undoing the 10mm bolts. Like you said the 10mm ratchet spanner made the job much easier.
I could take some pictures when I'm home from...
I also took the metal frame off the car and re sealed down with automotive black sealer.
Have to take the glass out of the sunroof, then remove the sunroof trim surround that holds the headliner up, undo all the 10mm bolts that holds the frame down.
The factory seal they use is also terrible...

BEFORE...

Cheers mate. I ordered the 10cm x 10cm sample first to make sure it was the right colour and texture then ordered the 250cm x 145cm. The extra length should give the ability to match contours of the headliner and ensure plenty to fold over the edges and secure it in place.
