Cheers guys thats what i thought, was worrying a bit there.

Is anyone elses mk3s biting point really high, when i got my clutch done it was low but gradually raised. Is this the clutch bedding in or should it be a low biting point? Thanks jack.

Yeah the one from the links 50mm, its plastic and its two parts that screw together from each side mate.

Its a diffrent mechanic now the other 1 was too unreliable. Dont know might be because it was just slipping before but still had the compression ?

Is that the hydraulic for the clutch?

Just been on the phone with the mechsnic says it could potentially be the hydraulic accuator, its inside the gearbox. Taking it through tonight.

Theres no compression in the clutch whatsoever, cant get it in gear.

Ive just had the clutch done around 1000 mile ago because it was slipping but still driveable. Last night i was slowing down for a bridge, dropped it into third then the clutch went loose and ended up towing it back :/. When i got the clutch done before themechanic had to send the flywheel away...

I got a mechanic to fit the exhaust but got silencer chopped at the same time for £80 labour. I got the bung off ebay its 50mm. heres the link for the bung :)...

Its been a while since i last posted on this thread, not much has changed aha ​She's lowered on 45mm H n R springs and they closed the arch gap a lot, but coilovers are the way forward :p also got some chrome door handle covers heres some pics for you to see, let me know what you think...

got everything from halfords for £21, cant grumble. cheers anyway

They dont have any orange in stock on their website, its £16-18 on ebay. Im going up halfords later to have a looks. Cheers lads

Has any one else had the same problem where their alternator makes a whining noise all the time?. Ive been told some if the bearings are gone, but the belt seems a bit too tight aswell. Is the alternator also the tensioner on the mk3 because thats what it looks like. Cheers

Haha i have a trade accont there so might pop up. yeah a few of my mates have done it with halfords and it came out alright. sounds good if i ever want to go back to chrome badges, do you have to sand it down to use plastidip?.

hey, i was looking at the front grilles for the mk3 on ebay and theres the plastic or mesh sport grilles. just wondering whether the mesh grille would fit my 1.2 mk3. thanks.

yeah they have always been black, cheers and don't think it has make its just a mk3 performance backbox from directcarparts.
