I sold my turinis off my 172 cup, they needed refurbished and I couldn't be arsed, so I sold them on eBay for £350! There's always a mug out there who will pay over the odds for anything
Since having my immobiliser rewired by Renault, I've noticed that my windscreen wipers are sitting about 2 inches too high in the down position when not being used :S
what could have caused this, and how can I adjust them ?
No mate, I removed the cover and looked on the back of it at the fuse diagram and could not see a fuse that looked like it was for the immobiliser so didn't start taking them out to check them
Is one of them for the immobiliser?
Tried all of those with no luck
I've booked it in to Renault...I'm going to squirt some KY jelly up my are so it doesn't hurt too much when they bend me over
I rang Renault yesterday and explained the problem
They said it sounds like the battery has run down far enough for the immobiliser to detect a fault in the system and has come on, the requires clearing with a fault code reader because disconnecting the battery will not clear the fault...
I'll check the fuses, do you mean the ones in the engine bay? Cheers
I've put a battery pack/jump starter on it that is used for lorries, it has a switchable 24v/12v output, and it was still the same on the 12v
I've got a 172 Cup :(
the car has not been used for 3 weeks... I left it unlocked with the alarm and immobiliser off
got back to it yesterday and tried to start it, but it would not start. The immobiliser light was flashing slowly even though I'd left the car unlocked. When I turn the key...
nope, deff no brake fluid on any discs
the first inch of brake travel is almost free travel with no resistance, then proper feel on the pedal and very grabby brakes
bit of history....
I've got standard pads and discs on the front and back
I fitted a brand new rear brake compensator valve last week, fitted refurbed rear callipers from bigg red at the same time, also fitted new flexi brake hoses at the rear
bled the brakes with an eezee bleed kit...
I've had loads of problems getting our N4's to pick up a wifi signal
I've come from an iphone 4S and the nexus beats it in every department ... the wife had a HTC widefire s and the nexus takes a big s**t all over it
I bought a 16gb for £200 last week, bought the wife one too
great phone.... if you can live with the wifi dropping out all the time
its a very common problem on the nexus running 4.3
Yep, what he just said
use a 10mm deep socket with a bendy knuckle attachment on it, then use a straight extension bar.... One that's long enough to clear the heat shield
I've got brake fluid going in to the brake bias valve, but none coming out :dapprove:
I've tried force bleeding it by opening a bleed nipple on the calliper, using an ezeebleed kit and manually lifting the arm on the valve up and down..... nothing came out of the nipples
is it possible to...
Big shout out to Ness Motors in Inverness
took my 172 Cup in today for a cambelt and fanbelt, great job for a Renault main dealer .... £397 for the timing belt kit, core plug, plug, and fan belt
