172 cup winscreen wipers sitting too high

Since having my immobiliser rewired by Renault, I've noticed that my windscreen wipers are sitting about 2 inches too high in the down position when not being used :S

what could have caused this, and how can I adjust them ?

Yeah pop off the round plastic cover on bottom of arm, remove nut, remove arm and re-position. Can be very tight to get arm off, wiggle it & spray some wd40 beforehand. Ideally use a puller tool to take the wipers off.
