is the noise like a rattle or a bang? if its a bang it could be a track rod end or a ball joint or maybe even a strut. jack the car up and hold the wheel and shake it left to right and look at the track rod end if theres play in it then its that. do the same but up and down and check the ball...

i have recently bought a fabia splitter for my 172 cup and was wondering the best way to fit it

my cup was handling bad round bends and that was cause off my shocks being f***ed also my bottom arm bushes were away which made it twitchy when going into holes and stuff on the road not to expensive to fix

sounds like either ur battery isn't holding a charge or the alternator isn't charging it. is there any lights came on dashboard

also check which back box is on it as I have a cup and when a tried replacing the exhaust from a garage it was the wrong ones coming under my reg plate and I had to go to Renault for mine. mine was hitting off the rear axle aswell. I also have a cup ;)

nah not yet was looking on here for some advice last night. sometimes it starts fine and other times I get the solid red light which is driving me insane any advice would be appreciated

nice car mate! I have a cup aswell but whatever u do don't change the wheels. my brother had mine before I swapped him for my corsa and he put normal 172 wheels on it and tey are no where near as nice as cup wheels. looks like a really good buy

thanks. its driving me insane just going to start with the easy stuff and work my way along to the difficult things.

am just wondering if I replace my 172 ecu and stuff for a 182 on will it work properly or do I have o get a 172 one.

wondering if anyone out there could help with my fault. I went to start my clio one morning and it was trying to fire up but wouldn't, the immobiliser is on and won go off so guessing that is what the fault is. im wondering if there is any one who has a way to fix this or get round it as I want...
