Have looked in my Haynes manual to locate the washer relay for my 1992 mk1 ph1 1.4RT clio, and it appears to point to the left of the fuse box, however I cannot find a relay here, I found one behind the dash speaker but it infers this is for the rear washer motor. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Hi,
Ben J, what spec was the transit battery you put in? and how much did it cost?
I currently have an upgraded bosch silver top designed for a diesel so more power, currently the system draws more current than the alt can supply therefore keeps draining the battery and I believe damaging...
I have a mk1 ph1 1.4RT, currently all things lead to my alternator having given up the ghost. So need a new one, however I have a big system in my car which is easily drawing more than the current alternator, so I want an more powerful one. I currently have a 60amp one according to a website I...
Thanks for the advice, youve backed up my theory that they would fit, just wish their was some way i could test it before i went and spent the money on them, which probably wont be for a while anyway. The only way i can think of is to try and find some really cheap 195/45/15 used and get them put on
I wasnt saying yours want an opinion or experience, just like lots of opinions as i say it seems to vary.
Nice car. How much is that lowered by, what size tyres have you got on there then? The work youve had done, is that grinding away the inner lip on the rear arch?
Thanks for the opinion, any other people with experience/opinions?
By the way it is currently lowered 35mm looking a bit high for me, want to lower it 60, what would it be like at these heights
I have put ph2 16 valve alloys on my 1.4 rt mk1 ph1 and they had 185/55/15s on them with these i had to remove the arch liners and move a few things, the problem is in the future i want to fit slightly wider but low profile 195/45/15s discussing it with people i know there is a lot of debate...
I changed from coaxials to components in my mk1 1.4 rt and definitely components all the way. Depends on how you like your music setting to be but mine are on top of the dash and sound perfect to me if you put them in the dash where the original speakers where you need to make sure they have the...
I have an alpine 1541D which ive had for just over a year, its running off a kenwood kac929 which isnt meant to be stable at 2ohms so have been running it at 8ohms(sub 500rms, amp 450rms at 4ohms but is at 8 so will be less). It ran fine until i took it out of my car and left it for a few months...
Will i have any problem putting phase 2 valver alloys with 185/55/15 tyres on to a 1.4 rt phase 1 mk 1, its lowered 35mm at front, not sure about rear its looks about 35mm lower as well? any rubbing or anything?
