But that's not a cup? I think either way the OP has in mind he will lose some money if he has the conversion or buys another car.
Kind of going off topic slightly though.
Can you give me an example of a £5000 turbo car that will handle as good as a well set up cup and be a fair amount quicker?
Bar a 225 variant...
Buying a turbo converted cup kind of defeats the object of keeping his well set up cup that he's just spent ££££ on.
No chance, with YEN vs GBP the nicer ones will stay higher priced.
A nice fresh import now will cost someone between £10,000 - £12,000 meaning equivalent UK owned cars will rise in value due to this.
Yours if as good as it looked was priced at the lower end for sure hence the interest and...
After a bit of help if possible.
Tried calling and searching online but can't seem to find a definitive / correct item.
Looking for ideally 2 new driveshafts N/S & O/S.
ECP have a cup version for N/S but don't list anything for O/S.
Other places only have 1 part number for non cup 172...
No, I can't see anyone losing money on a tidy DC5.
That being said, E46 M3 with low mileage and good condition are increasing nicely.
Think it'll be some years until the DC5 starts increasing in value, but for sure can't see anyone losing money on a nice example.
I tend to agree.
When you compare to an EP3 with similar mileage they'll be up at £4-5000 when the 172/182 struggle to get over £3000.
Obviously there is the exception with some conditions and rarity but I've seen a fair amount of 182's that look nice start off at £3500 and 2 months later be...
Well considering I'm looking daily at prices with large fluctuation I'm only stating what I see.
Decent condition around £2-£2500 are selling, ones priced at £3-£3500 seem to be up for a good while if at all sell.
Always two perspectives when selling and that's from the buyer and seller...
I could be interested in this. Let me know what sort of price you're after. Prices at the moment are all over the place.
Seen some up at £3500 but seem to be up for sale a fair while / not even sell.
Then seen others that are priced a little low at around £1700 that sell pretty damn fast...
Well I feel it was priced correctly for a sale.
I've seen a few a fair amount higher (price) and have been up for a while or ones priced lower and not in the same condition.
Someone is certainly going to get a nice car, at a good price.
Can't believe how much nicer the rear mat makes it look. Almost makes it look like it left the factory without rear seats.
How much did it cost of you don't mind me asking.
Hello guys.
Sorry for the late reply. I don't get much time to get on the Internet at the moment due to work commitments.
This is my car which is sadly for sale due to loosing my job some months ago.
I did do a WIP thread on the car and current owners can be traced back on here. Thanks
I had mine set up at Total Control Racing (15 minutes on from mine for you).
However they did a great job, I also think BTM Performance can corner weight the Clio.
Neither in Derby but they are not that far away...
