    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

I agree. On the public roads, with traffic and the idiots who don't look, most "performance" cars are much of a muchness. My Exige V6 will be running around 400bhp, on sticky tyres and a clever ECU brain (Race mode) and I don't expect to be "that much" quicker on the public road compared to the...

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

Yep my 1M had a Forge intercooler, modded midpipes to remove the secondary cats and was remapped by DMS. It went very well but you couldn't use the performance on the road.

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

I'm in a few forums - Detailing World, PH, SELOC, 1addicts, BabyBMW, Etc. My plate has been on a few different cars as well (Elise SC, Exige 260, Golf R32 and a BMW 1M). Although I don't have many posts on here, I read it a lot. Lots of petrolheads all sharing their passion / hobby which is...

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

Yeah I've got the car on Ford Options using a Privilege ticket. My plan was simply to run it for the term (2 years), then hand it back for a new one and start again. I guess it's probably not the engine so much that needs running in, but rather bedding in the brakes, etc.

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

I've ordered mine from Jamie at B&C :) The only differences I've gone for though are to have some bits painted black (like the rear wing and section between the rear lights) and the interior including the dash and steering wheel trimmed in alcantara. Lastly I've got a full exhaust system going...

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

Hi Mark, I've really enjoyed reading this entire thread from a clear car enthusiast /tips my cap to you sir :) I've been looking at buying a second car for a while to runabout in but I wanted something fun. I did have a BMW 1M for three years which was tuned and I've really missed that torque...

    Hi from Essex

For anyone interested, I managed to get my car into a magazine late last year and the scan is below.

    Hi from Essex

I have relatives out towards Braintree, so it could have been me. I know that there is a black 1M around Chelmsford, but I've not see any other white ones about. I don't have any vids at the moment as I've not got around to sorting out a decent camera, but it's something I'm planning to do...

    Hi from Essex

The Exige was fun, but the tyre wear was terrible. I was getting 4000 miles from a set of rears and that was just normal road use (not even hooning!). Crazy!! Yeah SELOC and PH are my main haunts, but I thought I'd check it out on here as well. Seems to be a good site with a load of...

    best wax to use

I actually bought it for my wife's car and thought I'd try it on mine. It does leave a nice glossy finish and seems to keep the majority of crud off over the winter months when I can't get out and give it a proper clean. I have been trying out the Nano-Express as well, although it's not easy to...

    best wax to use

A lot of people rave about this and I've never actually tried it. Hmmmm, might have to order some and try it out :) I agree that the Poorboys stuff is good, although a lot of it is down to the preparation. A poorly prepped car and wax applied will not last as long as a well prepped car. Well...

    best wax to use

I can only speak from personal experience after trying Zymol, Dodo Juice, Poorboys, etc that the Glacier Swissvax has given me the best results on my car. I've never really gotten on with sealants, but then it's personal preference I guess. The last sealant I tried was Zaino Z2 with some ZFX...

    best wax to use

What colour is your car? I tend to buy waxes that are design for specific colours. My car is white and I'm currently using Swissvax Glacier which is designed for white cars...

    Newbie from Ayr

Very nice. I love the PH1 Clios as you don't see many of them around these days. One was parked up near the office at work the other day and I had a good look around it. Like you say, give it a good detail and she'll be tip top :)

My first attempt at wrapping - LIME GREEN BMW 335D!

I'm really interested in wrapping my car, but as a keen detailer, I'm not sure if I'd get frustrated with it. Do you have to clean them any differently or can you still use all of the usual products that you would on an un-wrapped car? I'm thinking products like Tardis, Iron-X, Auto Finese...

    Hi from Essex

I'm not far from you actually (over in Chelmsford). I've got a few mates in Southend so it could have been me but I know there are a few 1Ms kicking around these parts. I've got a PH sticker as well :)

    Hi from Essex

Yep I had a white Exige 260 and am still on PH and SELOC :)

    Hi from Essex

Ta :) The mods list isn't too extensive really. Performance wise it's got a Forge Intercooler, deleted secondary cats and the DMS remap, so it's up to 431bhp and 485 lb/ft (656nm) torque at the moment. I've also recently fitted Pilot SuperSport tyres all round which have given me a lot of...

    Hi from Essex

Hi all, After bumping into some RenaultSport owners by chance at the local BP a few weeks ago and drooling over their cars (there's something about that liquid yellow colour!), I thought I'd sign up here. I don't own a Clio myself but have driven my friends 172 Cup in the past (great fun...
