:D
Was that you mate? Couldn't see any CS stickers on it.
You should have done your shopping quicker, I could have been spotted. I never get spotted.
They didn't have a 21mm swan neck either so not doing my front dampers this weekend!
What kind of a world do we live in when neither Halfords or...
I was thinking more of strain on the mounts but hey if it is lighter...
Makes for good under bonnet pron I guess. Will wait to see dyno proof :p
Seriously though I'd be looking at mounting fully to the engine, although there's always the possibility it'd start rubbing the battery up the wrong...
Looks lovely but I gotta say the weight of it must be substantial compared to a ropey silicone thing and as some have said the mounting is iffy. Looks like you've attached it to the ECU bracket and I think they tend to snap at the other end where it attaches to the watsit under the thingy...
I spotted an ad for a 182 Cup series too. Will be on Motors TV and everything.
All this good press, soon values will start rising and we can all claim it's an investment :)
Will have to give it a full read later (back to work with me!)
Have just picked up the August issue. More RS Clio content (and a name drop for CS!) :)
Immediately followed by a guide to filling bushes in with polyurethane
When I first got mine I kept trying to put it in between third and fifth, accelerating down a slip road and then................ .. .. hmm.. there's a gear here somewhere.
182 plate ending VWC in Tescos car park at lunch time, I parked next to you but your car was still there when I left so you didn't see me :(
Shiny black thumbgrips. Looked proper clean like.
Silver ph1 spotted on the A46 heading North towards M69/M6, ~16:30-16:45
Again looked to be in good...
tbh I don't rate Ariels, I'd sooner a BAC or an Ultima.
But I don't think you'll be able to afford any of them if you're going round spending £39 on a badge.
Oh I'm sorry, you meant aerial, spelt that way and non-captialised didn't you :p
sorry :(
Nope, stone cold serious.
The splitter gives it 20% more downforce and reduces drag and because it doesn't have a CD changer or aircon or xenons it has a smaller alternator so it has less parasitic loss so even though the flywheel power is the same as a normal 172 the wheel power is more. The...
Erm ok.
I've just done the rears as they needed doing. Have sport conti 3s on the front with a fair bit still on them and obviously will be replacing them soon :)
Although it's not rarely used, it's always used.
The giveaway for the suspension pack is the anthracite wheels, obviously easily faked though so to be sure you need to measure the bolt spacing. Which bolt spacing exactly I'm not entirely sure ;)
Believe it's where the front strut bolts to the hub, is different on cup/non-cup 182s.
Gratz on the...
I'm pretty sure this counts as libel (if *innocent face* counts as libel, then surely this does?) so why don't the constabulary get off their rotund behinds and request the ip of whoever made that post? Because facebook can and will do that.
Alternatively, CS meet at ashby folville? Seriously...
Re: Whos been a naughty boy/girl?
Now now, let's not lower ourselves to their level.
Still I'm a bit disappointed, tommy said "girl" so I assumed 18-19.
Needlessly bumping to say I've got the AD08s on the back, replaced rear dampers too. Think it needs front dampers and front tyres soon too though but at least the back end feels better now.
All my monies are going away! halp! :(
Anyone want to sell me two AD08s for cheap?
:(
sorry for your loss...
but don't blame the Lexus driver, blame the person he had to avoid who changed lanes into the path of another car. Or I'm misunderstanding it and he came tanking up behind a car in L2 and forgot there was a car in front of him so had to swerve into L3?
best start...
Everyone knows the 172 Cup is the best out of all the Clios.
It's lighter than the 182 and nearly as light as a Ph1 and the engine has way more torque and they always picked the best engines for the Cups and they make more than the advertised power it's a fact and they are much much much faster...
Sorry for your loss. Some utter knobs out there.
I nearly had this last week when there was an unusually long queue running about 200 yards back from a roundabout, big green lorry (some delivery firm.. or.. some kind of furniture shop or something?) er.. anyway this lorry is coming up behind me...
Re: Whos been a naughty boy/girl?
:dead:
So anyway, these people are making threats of violence, I do hope they are charged with such (because that's a crime now).
Obviously only Tommy knows what happened but it's really sounding like bulls**t and that aside there are proper channels for...
halp!
I think I've done it wrong.
I just put the dampers and assorted rubber cones on in the order they were packaged and now I'm not sure this is right.
Does the little metal sleeve go under the cones or sort of inside them? It didn't seem to fit inside them.
Also does it matter which way round...
Er, sorry, 172 PS (metric horsepower) = 169(.52) mechanical horsepower. But why would it be sold with mechanical hp in Poland?
I just kinda threw in a 192 there because morning.
