I have attached a pic so you know what I mean. I wanted to get rid of it before fitting my cup racer engine and box I see there is a breather coming from the tank to the canister
sure a few of you have got rid of it so what did you do with the breather ?
Will also be running a cup racer...
Taking my head off today and had a quick look in the inlet ports looks like they have been cnc machined is this std Renault ? As I'm not familiar with these engines yet ?
I can't see there is much to be gained but some mid torque so is it worth it i have a 182 manifold but then ill have to faf about with the ktec decat or make my own
As I'm aware the cup racer 2 doesn't have p/s but I'm not sure if I should keep mine or take it out!
i don't have time to do electric conversion so either I keep my p/s or take it out to save a bit of weight and rotating mass
I have fitted full cup racer suspension ie wishbones hubs and struts.
Im worried about the length of the driveshafts with the standard jc5 box and I don't really have the money to buy a sadev and shafts
Are any of you running the jc5 box with this set up ?

The bell end who owned the car before me decided it would be a good idea to cut all the abs sensor wires and loom I as you can guess there is too much bias to the rear it's a non cup btw.
Time is a bit of a problem for me so need a quick solution I have a willwood bias valve but being a non...
If fed up with the std box it must be made of cheese! Any of you racers out there use Straight cut boxes
I can't find a kit for the jc5 box I thought gripper did one, I'm sure the r5 turbo box uses the same diff as the 172/182
can anyone point me in the right direction

I have decided to go turbo over itb's for my 172. I know a few of you will have turbo kits I don't want to buy a kit from ktec as its over priced and ktec the engine dynamics one seems a fair ish price, my question is there must be a cheaper way or a DIY kit ?
