Rather than start a new thread, my 200 is due it's belts/rollers/water pump + it's 6 year service. Been quoted £585 (+vat) for the lot, does this sound a fair price? This doesn't include the dephaser pully, apparently they're not common on the 200 but if I did want it doing it's another £120...
Walking past the N/S of my car, I somehow managed to snap off the smooth black wingmirror cover. I can only find the normal textured ones on ebay, anybody know where I could find the ones with said finish that go on the 200 cup?
Cheers. Yes, I know I'm an idiot!
Didn't use the superblue in the end. Rear was bled and the front (wasn't back bled though if that's what you mean?) Local French car specialist, it's going back for them to have another look soon. I just wanted to know if anybody else had the same problem with their 200 or 197..................
Bump.
Does anybody else have this trouble with their 200? Had them bled again but not much difference. Could there be air in the abs pump? Not really got too much confidence in them at the moment! (I'm going to get some new pads anyway).
Thanks
Hi
Got the standard set-up at the moment on the front.
Had the car serviced including the brakes bled last month as they were a little spongy (could get the pedal all the way to the floor). After the bleed they are a bit better, but I'm still not 100% happy.
The pads and discs have lots of...
The part of the dash where you can scroll through the various trip computer messages is fading. The symbol underneath where it shows if any doors are open is fine. I've had a quick search and can't find anything about this, has anybody else had it before? I'm thinking it might be a dash out...
Good choice mate, Recaros make a difference though. Runners are the same, however you might come across the problem of the airbag light not going off when you've swapped them because the Recaros have less airbags. I had to take mine to a garage to get rid of it.
Haha, I wanted to go to that today, but it clashed with something else. Would of been good to put some names to faces and local too. Saw a 182,197 and 200 coming from Donington direction on my way home this afternoon. I await the picture.......:grinning:
Honestly, keep the Recaros. They're more comfy than the standard seats, I swapped to some Recaros because the standard ones are like sitting on a bouncy castle when it gets bumpy. Enjoy the car!
Had a special reg on it, parked in one of the fields near the track for the MotoGP. Owner must be minted if they can afford to pay the parking charges there! Also spotted a 62 reg LY 200 on the M1 heading North on the way back being driven by a young lady. Anybody own either of them?
