Thermostat........help(please)

Hi, had a thermostat fitted last August......99% sure it's gone again...... problem is it'd be easier to find hen's teeth than a genuine one right now!
Anyone use or could recommend a pattern one? A quick look on eBay has one made by gates for the 197/200.

My gates one failed within 6 months on my 197, i fitted a genuine one from RPD last week but i see they are now showing out of stock, have you contacted them for an estimated date?

Gates one should be fine as long as it tallies up with the 8200772994 part number and is 75c opening temp.

Might have located a genuine one. Think it's more the seal that goes than the actual thermostat?

That's the higher temperature one for the 1*2

The last Gates thermostat I used wasn't a Gates.
