Hi all :) two-three issues... Climate control display: this one has been happening over the last month. The climate control display has been going a little funny, the last bar that finishes the number 8 has stopped working then the week after the first two little fan icons for speed 1-3 have...

Not sure if this is any help but my clio did this a few weeks back and it turned out to be a wheel bearing, only heard it when it was turning a specific way. oh and there was a similar noise which was a lightly feathered tire.

Just found a thread! sounds like that sensor with the mini fan, will buy a new one :) cheers for the heads up.

The idle itself in neutral is fine, sometimes suffers from the odd bump about for a few seconds when in cold weather. It's worse when actually driving every now and then it will be as if I keep pressing the accelerator in and out then all of a sudden when the temp reaches a certain bit it goes...

signs of failing or just noisy in general? Is it normal or can it be fixed?

As above, there is a VERY loud constant buzz from behind the middle ish dash which stays on when you turn the key twice, but goes off when engine running. also noticed a lighter version of the noise coming from the engine bay which i guess may be linked or just heard as its so loud (when not...

Does it sound like a belt noise / when you say chirping is it a constant chirp under acceleration?

it's a ph2 2002 clio 172 with 79k miles and full service history with cambelt done last 3 years ago. On a cold engine start you can hear a slight squeally noise very second or two for a split second each time (maybe release bearing), garage said belts are all fine and aux belt looks in good...

Never really noitced, mainly daytime driving really and only owned the car over a month so been staying light later than usual. If I start the car and leave it idle would they flicker a lot or would this be intermittent flickering when driving? (172 xenon lights)

Hi all, Been looking through the forum on the same issues I've solved one! but have a few others... 1. When taking a hard corner (long one say a motorway turn off) the STOP, battery / oil light will flash constantly until on a straight again. This only happens on a hard turn not normal...

Coming along really well, I like it. :) As most people have said... The rear lights, go for normal or maybe geta tint spray and "smoke" them but don't fully black them out as IMO it would be too black at the back then. Maybe spray that front tow eye gloss black/Athracite to make it more subtle?

Thanks, Thought as much after having a quick look underneath.. Is there any direct fit aftermarket ones which can be used for a single 2.5" exit if cut into the left side of the bumper?

This has probably been asked x amount of times and apologies in advance but I used the search bar and couldn't find a thread relating exactly to it... as above, I have a ph2 172, would a 182 ph2 bumper and rear box fit directly on is there a lot more to it?

As stated above the clutch is very heavy and mines very high biting like my last c2 too, picked mine up the other day and when I get back in my dads leon fr I nearly kick the clutch through the floor its that soft and light haha.

If I buy a new headlight from the same ph2 clio for my 172 sport does the xenon unit from my old light swap straight over if the nee unit comes with a normal light setup inside? Or do I have to source a specific xenon light unit all in one? ​

Just bought a 172 in good condition 78k miles ph2 2002. My questions are: 1. a droning / whirring noise is occurring when above 55 mph from the front you can kinda feel it too, would this be the drive shaft / wheel bearing? 2. The front headlight is faded at the top, i've read on here...
