Cool the pre cat is out all ready and the main cat will come out with the new exhaust then be mapped keeping the cat and having a section to add back in for the mot is a must.

Aww yeh im having it made for me from the manifold down so far it will be: no pre cat. De cat pipe (for mot) from there back im lost what should the bore be etc i don't want to lose compression/power.

Looking to get the best power gain from it basically. Is there any thing i need to make sure i don't do i.e so i don't get warning lights etc?

Hi im going to stick a stainless exhaust on my 197 whats the best set up? i use the car on a day to day basis and not on the track.

Yeh that might be an option as the rs tuner kit comes in at around £280 not worth it if i can find a used one for say £100 and then get the license that will be better.

Hi can any one help me i would like my 197 remapped is there any one that does it around Fort William or even Inverness.

I cant get 30 MPG from my 197 to save my life it has some thing to do with just having a cave man type urge to turn up the revs you cant beat that sound of a high revving engine so i get 26 from mine at the moment if i wanted a car that gets good MPG i would have a mini cooper d which gets 70+MPG

yeh i have covered about 500 miles ish the dealer has told me that you should be sticking in about 1l of oil every 500 ish miles.

can any one tell me how much il you use in your 197? i have only had my car about 3 weeks and have already had to stick 1l of oil in is it normal to use 1l every 3-4 weeks?

Hello. I have stuck an induction kit on my 197 and i used the air intake to blow underneath the filter i extended the pipe and pointed it towards the filter. Is there an increased risk of overheating? It sounds like a beast and has been named bam bam by my friend who also thinks it...

i just got my 197 so am not sure about MPG but i know it sucks compared to my last car a mini cooper d at 74 mph my avg was 53 mpg+ i travel 350 miles every 2 weeks for work so will be filling my tank every week for sure!!!
