Have a 172.....used on normal roads and as a track car, question is, what is the differance between Solid Disc`s & Drilled/Grooved Disc`s??? What would be the best choice for track and road use?? I`m looking at 3 options to up grade to Brembo HC Brembo Max Brembo Drilled/Grooved

I`v have them on my 172 and thought they where fine...just done a track day at Cadwell and they handled very well indeed, no problems at all.

Fitted new battery and tow-eye strap. Shall be having 4 new Toyo R1Rs fitted to my new (2nd hand) 15" track alloys, all ready for 1st Feb at Cadwell

My tail gate/boot lid won`t open via the central locking....the 2 doors open & lock ok. Could it be a fuse issue? Is there any other way of opening tail gate/boot lid?? Thanks

Don`t mean to be cheeky...but what price did you pay for these? I`m looking at buying some track day tyres myself...either Toyo R1Rs or Yoko AD08s...but theres £130 differance in price between them.

Thanks....I understand your the man to speak to regarding Brembo discs......Looking at doing some track days.....would you say solid dics are ok or would I be better off having drilled/grooved? Looking at a full set front and rear....what sort of price would I be looking at?? Regards Paul
