My Track Prepped Clio 182

Standard spec is: - 2004 Clio RS 182

- Arctic Blue - 88k miles

- 2 previous owners - Comprehensive service history

- Aircon: fully functional and ice cold. - PAS - ABS etc etc etc

Mods: -

- Bilstein B14 coilover kit.

- Lowered about 50mm front and 40mm rear

- Powerflex 'purple' bushes all round, including purple dogbone mount

- Tarox F2000 front discs with Carbon Lorraine RC5+ pads

- Goodridge braided front lines

- Brembo rear OE discs with Ferodo DS2500 rear pads

- Janspeed cat-back stainless exhaust

- Mini-cat fitted to prevent dashboard warning light

- Powerflex rear exhaust hangers

- Front fog lights removed with air ducting for front brakes

- Safety Devices 9 point MSA Spec cage finished in white

- Cobra Monaco S seats on Cobra 'low slung' subframes

- Sparco 330mm suede steering wheel, with subtle flat bottom

- Ricco 5 point harnesses in blue

- Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in Gloss Black, with Toyo R888 tyres (195/50/15)

- Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in Gloss Anthracite with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres

- OZ F1 in Fluorescent Orange with Toyo R1R tyres

- Heat shield around brake fluid reservoir to ease excessive heat from manifold

- K&N panel filter

- Front arches machined to prevent scrubbing

- Fully stripped, but retaining front door cards for neatness/electrics etc.

- Rear wiper removed and blanked off.

- Brake fluid with Millers 300 Plus fluid.

- Complete coolant flush and refresh.

- 5W40 fully synthetic oil/new oil filter.

- New fuel filter.

Cam Belt, Dephaser Pulley & Water Pump, Brand new alternator & AUX belt all changed September 2016

After owning Sliver Clio 172 sport, which had minor MODs, 40mm Apex Springs, de-cat exhaust, Brembo Max Front Disc`s with RC5+ Pads, Mintex Rear Disc`s & Pads, HEL Braided Lines, OMP Steering + Boss

My next MOD was going to be bucket seats and harnesses.......Well after looking into the costs of these, £1500 plus fitting costs I decided to look for a ready built Track car. So the 182 came available at a price which I was happy to pay, the purchase price was £3500. The first thing I had done on the 182 was to have the Cam Belt, De-phaser and Water pump all replaced at Diamond Motors in Long Eaton.
I have since puchased a set of OZ f1s, which I have sprayed in orange gloss finish and wrapped the in Toyo R1R tyres.
