Resurrecting an old thread but no point starting a new one really.
K-Tec has revised the design of the manifold (it now has flexis as opposed to mk1). Is that to say that the mk1 would suffer from any issues i.e. cracking to the joints?
Thanks
Hi Steven and thanks for your input.
To be honest I was under the impression that the quaife diff is plug and play and no fiddling around was required, is what you mentioned the case with the 197 box as well? The guy who sold it to me has left it at Jade Developments for me to pick up as he...
Jack, I was thinking to have the money on the side, investigate when everything is in bits and take a decision from there.
Anyone to recommend any garages to swap the diff then? Any traders in here possibly?
Yeap, have to agree there Martin. It's a good thing I'm not in a rush to have them serviced but this is ridiculous to say the least for a company of such magnitude. Still haven't got a reply from anyone, not even from the guys in Holland when I asked for an 5100--->5200 upgrade quote...
Hi guys,
I've got a second hand (slightly used) quaife for my 197 and I'm looking for a garage to have it fitted. I'm sure a few people in here are running lsd diffs so any recommendations?
How much am I looking at and how long does it usually take? I know it's a couple of hours for someone...
Hi all,
I've got my ASTs 5100 for 3 years now, they've done approximately 25k miles so I believe it's time for a service. I already spoke to the guys in Holland and they quoted me 100 euros + VAT for each damper which I find reasonable(ish), especially now when the pound is so strong against...
Thanks guys, it was a really nice trip and we were a bit lucky with the weather too which always helps. Looking forward to next year already!
No it is not mate, it is somewhere in Passo Cibiana, very close to longarone.
No problems at all guys. I've got the itn files for this trip as well as the ones from older trips depending which countries you wish to visit. Last year we mainly did France (route Napoleon etc) and that was awesome as well. I can also give you hotel details and daily destinations, we usually...
Cheers guys:)
TaMrLb I know what you mean mate, one year we did Stelvio in beginning of Sept as we always do and it was -5C and covered with snow. Not ideal!
And a video of me following the Exige at Stelvio pass

Hi all, just came back from my annual trip in the Alps and I thought I'd share some pics and videos. This year we did Black forest, Austrian and Italian Alps, 9 days in total including the boring motorway driving. The company consisted of my R27, a supercharged Exige 240, a VVC 160 Elise S2 and...
Hi guys.
Since fitting coilovers on my R27 I've been getting a knock from both top mounts when driving over bumps or when the wheel suddenly drops (pothole, pavement etc). At first it wouldn't bother me however now (and after nearly two years lol) I've had enough and I wish to rectify this...
Hi mate, I've got a pair of angel eyes projector headlights for sale if you are interested;)

Hi all,
As per title really, could someone please recommend a good body-shop in the above mentioned areas? I'm looking to get my bumper re-sprayed so how much am I looking for roughly?
Thanks in advance.
I've tried sealing my MAP sensor using some gasket sealant the other day, plus cleaning the TB, plus swapping the lambda sensor but to my disappointment all that didn't make any difference whatsoever! Oh well..
Thanks for the advice though:)
Hi all,
A quick video that shows my car's issue
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FePmZNIeuNk
It only does it when the car is cold, doesn't affect the driveability or performance, it's just this annoying beep. I had a mate pressing the throttle while I was trying to figure out where this noise...
That review was absolutely idiotic. Any solid arguments as to why didn't they test the Clio at the track?
A more realistic review can be found here...

Is it me or the Clio seems more settled under braking than the rest?
That's really close, I live on nags head road (sh1tty area I know but work is only around the corner, I couldn't do the commuting from Central London any more).
I'll pop around sometime to have a nose on your 182 then:)
