AST Suspension Servicing

Hi all,

I've got my ASTs 5100 for 3 years now, they've done approximately 25k miles so I believe it's time for a service. I already spoke to the guys in Holland and they quoted me 100 euros + VAT for each damper which I find reasonable(ish), especially now when the pound is so strong against the euro. However, I would like to avoid all this hassle (sending parts abroad and waiting up to 3 weeks to get them back etc) so I was wondering if there are any AST specialists here in the UK?

A quick search came up with a Curtis name but I couldn't find anything any more details. Is he still in the business? Any other suggestions?

Josh Cook @Cooksport organised a rebuild on mine. Returned to me next day.

Might be worth checking if he can still arrange this as Curtis can be quite hard to get hold of.

I take it Curtis is the man to speak to for parts as well , as i need a rear spring seat/adjuster.

Yep he's the AST contact for the UK. Although as people have said get bits ordered with time to spare!

Curtis is impossible to get a reply from! Real shame the AST after care is so poor in my opinion.

Yeap, have to agree there Martin. It's a good thing I'm not in a rush to have them serviced but this is ridiculous to say the least for a company of such magnitude. Still haven't got a reply from anyone, not even from the guys in Holland when I asked for an 5100--->5200 upgrade quote...
