Hello. Recently got a 172 Ph. 1. Wondering what this hose is for. Assuming it's the one that connects to under the air filter pipe. On mine it is broken off in the middle and the nipple in the red circle is just blocked off with a plastic cap. Car runs without any problems seemingly. Thankful...

Hey, I just changed my washer bottle today as my pump was not working, but now I have run into a problem with the front washers and think it's down to the hose as it is pumping water out the pump but not when the hose is on.
