I’m planning on buying some car ramps - the time has come to de-rust and sort out the underside of my 182! So here’s the question: can anyone recommend a pair which give additional height over the standard? Most seem to be about 20cm (8 inches) - is there anything out there that’s higher?
I've been looking to buy a 172 cup after being away from cliosports for years. I found a fairly nice one but I did notice all of the jacking points are folded over and rotting, I didn't notice any more rust on the sills but I know it's hard to see without the covers off.

New here but I was eyeing up a Clio 172 and they guy sent me this picture and said it's a result of a scrape around a few months back. If so I imagine it'll just be surface rust but you never know. Asking price is lower because it needs tyres and oil change plus this issue.
I'm going to be fitting lovely new wishbones to my 182 very soon. And here's the question: would you treat them with a rust proofing first? I'm thinking Hammerite spray seal.
