track rod end

I recently had some work done to my 3RS Clio, the car was pulling to the left and both front track rods were changed. But after the work has been done, the sterring felt so off. And after confirming by jacking up the car, there was some massive play in the ball joints! I wanted to confirm what...

Trying to get the old track rod ends off to replace but struggling to remove them tried heat etc.. Is it easier to replace the tie rods and can it be done without removing the steering rack

I'm looking to replace my inner track rods and have seen lots of posts which refer to a plastic fitting which sometimes needs to be split in order to get the crows foot spanner in there. I can't seem to find those plastic parts anywhere: could someone point me in the right direction to a supplier?
