My question to you all is what are your brakes like in the wet? Mine seem to be non existant when i first apply the brake in the wet which kind of scares the s**t out of me when i forget and head to a junction lol
Would love to know your thoughts or...
Been looking at vacuum cleaners solely for the car.
I currently use a cheapish Phillips item but its not ideal - been looking at a Karcher WD 3.500 which seems very good and can get a refurbished one from Karcher for £59.
Anyone else got any suggestions or recommendations?
I don't want to...

I run R888s when dry and have only had a chance to use them in very very slightly damp conditions once.
But on my second set of wheels I want a tyre which I can rely on in wet/rain.
I know R888s work in the wet too but wasn't sure how much I could push them this weekend at the 'Ring and...
Hi,

Managed to get one headlight restored with some sheets from halfords but need more and a finer grain to finish the job.
Found this site, 50p a pop. All grades and can buy as many or as few or you want.
Just got 8x1000, 6x1200, 4x1500, 4x2000 for £13.59...
One of the two videos I remembered to get from Sat past at Knockhill (in two parts) the weather was a bit poop but it added to the fun. I had a few gearbox issues during the day with the clutch failing coming down into the hairpin at the end.
Excuse the gloves on and off, lap timer wouldn't...
Hello all,
Did a couple of races at Mallory this Sunday just gone. Qualified 3rd in class then it peed down so we had a wet Race 1, which was awesome fun! I managed to get a good start for a change and stayed ahead for a win.
Race 2 was pretty much dry (video to come), but again got a decent...
Morning,
Here's my vid from a recent day at Anglesey, I think there were a few of you chaps there too?
First 2 mins are going sideways / nearly falling off the track, then it's a couple of laps (sideways at most corners):
Cheers,
Adam
No not me sadly but it is the one we painted...

Over the Easter weekend am going clean my Xantia seats and carpets. It’s a 13 year car and they are now starting to look grubby.
I've managed to lend my mates wet vac and machine and I've bought some VP heavy duty carpet cleaner.
I am going to dilute some in a bottle, spray it on the seats and...
Morning all,
Went to Cadwell on Saturday and had an awesome time! The rain didn't stop all day (and turned to snow by the end) meaning it was pretty slippery...
The first ~half is me (and others) going sideways / getting it wrong, then the second half is a couple of clear laps.
Cheers,
Adam
hi everyone, after yesterdays trackday at snetterton and the arrival of heavy rain and snow for part of the day, ive come to the conclusion that r888's are not good for those conditions lmao so my question is what track focussed tyres are best recommended as im going to put a wet set on my...
Ok so last year I wanted a tyre that done everything, so went for federal rsr's which I do rate but on track in the wet I think their sh*t. So this year I'm thinking of running two sets of wheels, one set with 888's for dry trackdays and one set that will be used as my daily set and double up as...
I have noticed since xmas that my passenger side carpet was saturated with water. I dont think this is due to any seal problems as i have checked this.
I have noticed today a 2" hole under the car right below the passenger side is this missing a plug?
Or is it always open? only think it could...
Only a quick one as I'm a complete novice at this car cleaning shizz.
Can you use a wax ontop of this to enhance it? something like butter wet wax? or nattys blue(both of which I have.)
The current state of my car is saying it needs some attention, several car washes later its getting to...

Just wanting a bit of advice on this dodgy issue my car seems to have.
As per the title really the brakes seem to perform really crap in the wet and the pedal feels a little hard sometimes. First noticed it after driving through a big puddle which made them really bad and they barely worked...
