£1 gets me 10 miles

I used to record pence per mile but it got to dynamic with all the petrol price changes. You would do better to work out your mpg fella.

That's not too bad really. Think about it. If you're doing 44mpg for arguement sake. A galon of petrol is around 4quid, so around 10 miles per £1 is about right.

ye mate £1 for 10miles is about right... i drive a 1.6 16v which averages 40mpg and 20 english pounds will get me approx 200 - 210 miles so your not far out tbh. =]

it does make a little difference...deffinately...even if it is only a small one but the correct tyre pressures do help after all it means less tyre on the road = less friction = less drag = less fuel to move.

fair enough, if I'm skint I'd just take the motorbike lol 40mpg+ and 0-60 in 3.8 secs FTW

Correct. 63mpg. ive only ever filled the tank once and i got 560 miles out of it. get about 140 of out a tenner before i decide enough pushing fill her up. Lots of hills to coast down round here
