Don’t think you will find a better example to be fair.

Think I’d sooner have a well sorted Trophy though.

Looks good, low mileage and is definitely worth a bit more than your standard run of the mill Clio.

Wouldn't pay £10k mind you.

With that mileage, and if it is as good as the advert shows, then it's a perfect collectors item IMO.

Not many decent ones around now, most are complete dogs, track spec, or forum cars with mods or higher mileage etc.

Looks a nice car but I think i would be asking why a car with so low miles needs a wheel refurb and new door grips.

  Clio 172 Cup
I think standard examples with stamped history and belts etc being done will demand good value not sure 10k tho mines totally standard with 88k on belts done on time and fully stamped history but know it’s never climb into decent figures

I don’t quite understand why so many Clio owners tend to talk down the car, in terms of it's value.

In this instance, how many 172 Cups are out there in similar condition?

Supply and demand springs to mind...

There isn't the demand though.

Low miles & looking very tidy for sure, but optimistically priced to say the least.

Listing as a "Renaultsport clio 172 cup 182 Trophy V6" is just annoying

Otherwise GLWTS

Nobody wanting to buy a Clio for an investment is going to buy a 172 cup. It’s one of the less desirable models TBH. And what kind of return would you get if you spanked £10k from the get go?

Would be good if some rich t**t bought it and stripped it for a track car[emoji23][emoji23]

Remember Lawro’s IMMACULATE silver 182?

Yeah.

The mint 80s and early 90s hot hatches are only just tickling 10k now. This might be worth £10k at some point but I think it’ll be another 10 - 15 years.

Wasn't this up for sale on Facebook a dozen times last year at a similarly optimistic price? Or was that the carbon dipped monstrosity sister car? This needs storing for 10 years before it'll command £9999.

Sure when she bought it the asking price was about 6k. Polishes it, posts pics on fb a million times of it being polished, says it's a keeper never letting this one go, (de ja vue with her last cup) then lists for sale at laughable price. Takes hump on fb when gets slated and removes ad. dreamer
