It did indeed. The 16s don't look bad to be fair though. It's no go kart like the Clios though, so wasn't for me. Just want some ££££ back for it so I can pay for the cambelt and insurance on the Cup.

Mercs need to be auto. Manuals are a pain to shift on.

If it was an auto I wouldn't have been tempted because it would have gone by now!

It did 'go' but the helmet who did buy it now disappeared off the face of the earth!

It needs a tyre (205/55/16) with wheels balancing and possibly a bush on the front cos I can hear a faint knock over rough road (but there's no play in the suspension - passed MOT). Car's not insured anymore though cos had to use NCB to insure the Clio (swiftcover wouldn't cover the Clio! useless!)

really? all of them seemed to be autos! looked for a while for a manual cos not a fan of autos - yet! plus the forums say the autos somtimes failed on an ECU fault on these. Oh well fingers crossed it will go soon!

It will go eventually. All cars sell! ( I recently sold a corsa that I had advertised for a year!! lol)

But because of the stupid footbrake/handbrake on mercs, The general Mercedes customer people prefer Auto's.

Haha yeah that American style parkbrake setup had me puzzled the first time I drove it! First few drives in the Clio I keep going to kick the handbrake on when parking! The park light thing with one sidelight threw me out a few times too!

lol, dohhhhh!

I know yeah! thing is, what are the odds of the number being for some Ebay member salvage dealer in wales?!!? Something not right there. Hopefully get rid before I get my belts done on 23rd!!

Bit annoyed at the buyer over seller protection though. I listed it ages ago and accepted an offer that was done through ebay. The listing automatically cancelled cos I accepted the 'best offer', then the guy never came to pay/collect! Did a non payment case thingy and closed it as a non payer, but he gets no negative feedback and I have to shell out another £15 to relist!

How's that fair!?

Send ebay customer service an email explaining the situation and they will probably reimburse you the fees as "a gesture of good will"

cheers. yeah can't hurt to try tomorrow. the guy on the end of the phone tonight wasn't having it though. he did refund this latest listing though that was cancelled cos I'd had the wrong phone number on it and also I'm not allowed to say its 'advertised elsewhere' anymore!

Yeah give the email a try it's worked for me before.
There are certain phrases which if you put in a listing it will pop up with a message saying it will be deleted if you leave it in. Such as no paypal, buyer must pay paypal fees, reserve right to remove as advertised elsewhere etc.

Still for sale! Loads of watchers that will no doubt be offering me scrap value for it once the listing's ended! Not giving it away! No one fancy it for a European summer tour mission for the EURO championships? Cannonball run style banter.
