Was this on facebook for sale recently? I recall someone questioning painted fog surrounds on a low mileage 182. Anyway, it's not got enough wax on it to justify that price. Bloody dreamers😂.

It’s a dealer, he may as well ‘try’ dan always reduce the price. More difficult to increase.

Mad thing is I remember selling these new albeit parallel imports for around £12k (was a long time ago now)

I used to own a load of 205 GTi’s all of which I practically gave away when my then partner moaned about 5 old shitters on the drive. I started looking for a project 205 last year to rekindle my youth... anything worth owning was mad money. Clio isn’t anywhere near there yet, but with the numbers being turned into track cars. Good low mile road spec will start going up in price. I didn’t pay a great deal for my clio, it’s a s**t heap frankly. But I’m confident if I left it in my garage I would make more money than the £1500 would in savings...

Maybe a ly, RB, petrol or a trophy. If it had to be..

Can't seem to find the actual advert in their site. Only had a quick look though.

It’s registration is A14 TAO looking at MOT history it has been stored since 2017. Something doesn’t seem right with it to me, it’s had indicator bulbs changed to blue tinted/mirrored ones, front fog surrounds painted and failed an MoT in the past on poorly spaced plates. For that money I would want a proper straight/ out the showroom finished car. Could be wrong but my spider senses are tingling with this car

Front and rear bumpers have been painted. After market alarm?

Paint on the driver's rear quarter looks a bit meh, could be the pics.

At 13 or so. I'd expect like new. If people class ah wear n tear for a 15 year old car. Price it as a 15 year old car.

Anyway, back to sunbathing

It states an alarm. Probably fitted due to a fault on the standard one. Recaro front seats. Er ok.

Indicator bulbs and dodgy reg plates don't mean it was once a track car though do they😂. How many owners hasa it had? I'd assume it has been someone's pride and joy for many years and probably was a bit of a concourse show car. At least it's not got a tank of 3 year old fuel in🤣.

People seem to get very upset about things like this but, given the mileage on most 1*2s, you can't blame dealers for trying.

The mileage is ridiculously low and £13k is pennies to most collectors. If nothing else, it's generating traffic for the dealer, so they can't lose really.

Didn’t say it did, but when asking concours money and making out like this has been locked in a time capsule is somewhat disingenuous. It’s a lovely car, but for that money I would want something ‘perfect’

Like I say, be interesting to see if it sells. Good news for many of the clio owners on here if it does!

This 100% especially at the moment when nothing is really selling due to lockdown! Many of the retail platforms like autotrader and eBay are doing ‘free listing’ for retailers...why not chance your arm!?

Coming as someone who bought a 2008 car with 14k miles on it fairly recently. If they find a buyer like me, the price and/or small body imperfections wont matter a jot, they can be sorted. The low owner/mileage/feeling of basically buying a “new” version of that car 15 years later is simply unbeatable.

I reckon it was owned by an old boy, barely able to drive it for years, then was kept by the family when he passed. The service history would give you a better idea. Previous owner of mine died in 2011, family kept it until late 2019.
