£1500 reasonable?

For '98 mk2 ph1 1.4 RT 5dr with 45k miles and serviced about 500 miles ago. New cambelt 2 1/2 years ago. PAS, ABS, e/w and e/s/r.

I'm selling it btw.

Well i'm selling it to my sister so dont want to push it too far, just want a fair price as it'll be her 1st car. I paid £2k in 2005 for it and have since got all new tyres, 36k and minor service plus cambelt changed. Its been pretty good to *touch wood* except for the fault the RAC man sorted.

Just scoured autotrader and found a lot for £1500 plus, a far with higher mileage at £2k+.

My parents are getting paying for it like they did with my 1st car, and said they'd pay whatever anyone else would pay.

Yeah will have a word with my parents, they want to keep it for her cos she's 17 soon and they know my car has been ok and dont want to risk probs with unknowns and makes sense since I'm selling anyway. Hope it lasts, its taken a beating now and again since I've been driving regularly for the last year lol
